Junior and Seniors who are planning to receive a high school diploma and attend a 4-year college may take the test.
Gallaudet University is currently the only college requiring ACT scores. A minimum score of 14 on each subtest, including the COMPOSITE Score is strongly encouraged.
Students can currently take the ACT at CSD twice a year - Once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Registration is required.
Students can take the test as many times as they want. Students may opt to take the ACT at a local high school with an interpreter if more testing is needed.
Gallaudet will take the highest score for each test, if a student takes the test multiple times.
Using IEP Recommendations, the most common accommodation is EXTENDED TIME.
